After a massive global outage, Google has restored Gmail and YouTube services at 6.03pm IST. The cause for the global outage is yet to be ascertained. The outage affected millions of Google users who were unable to use the Google apps online. However, currently, some users are reporting that things are falling back, and they were able to login back to Gmail. But, Gmail is showing a warning when they are trying to login back.

Around 5:35pm IST, Google services such as Gmail, YouTube, Slides, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Play Services and Google Chat, among others, crashed worldwide. Interestingly, Google search was not impacted by this outage. Mobile users of Google Maps and Google Photos were unable to use these apps.

Minutes after the outage, users took to various social media platforms to share the news and the hashtag, #YouTubeDOWN, started trending on social media. More than 12,000 YouTube users have been affected by this outage across the globe. However, some users have said that YouTube is working on incognito mode. Reportedly, many users globally were not able to log into their Gmail accounts.
