Singer Vijay Yesudas’ car collided with another oncoming vehicle in Thuravoor on the national highway in Alappuzha on Monday night. The incident took place at around 11.30 pm
According to the police, Vijay was travelling to Kochi with a friend when the accident occurred. Reports suggest that the fronts of both cars were badly damaged in the accident. No one was injured and Vijay and his friend continued their journey to Kochi in another vehicle.
Vijay, the son of renowned singer KJ Yesudas, recently completed his 20 years in Malayalam playback singing. The singer, however recently indicated that he was quitting Mollywood as he felt that there was no respect for musicians in the industry. He said that he would instead concentrate on singing in Tamil and Telugu film industries.
