Actor Nimisha Sajeyan is taking leaps and strides down the pathway to success. Nimisha, who debuted with Dileesh Pothan’s Thondimuthalam Driksakshiyum is currently shooting Footprints on Water in the UK. The actor who is sharing space with Life of Pi actor Adil Hussain in the film shared in an Instagram post that she will be playing the role of his daughter in the movie.
Nimisha, who won the Kerala State Film Awards in 2019 for her roles in Oru Kuprasidha Payyan and Chola, recently shared a picture of her twinning with Adil in matching outfits, which is turning viral. Nimisha has a number of exciting projects in her kitty, including Nayattu with Kunchacko Boban and The Great Indian Kitchen with Suraj Venjaramoodu.
A bilingual film, Footprints on Water, the directorial debut of British-Indian filmmaker Nathalia Syam, will be released in Malayalam and in English. The film is written by Nathalia’s sister, Neetha. Adil plays Raghu, an illegal immigrant living in the UK, who is searching for his missing daughter. Actor Lena is plays Adil’s wife and Nimisha’s stepmother in the film. The film also stars British actor Antonio Aakeel, who plays an Afghani refugee.
The thriller is produced by Mohaan Nadaar under the banner The Production Headquarters.
Meanwhile, Nimisha and Lena seem to be having a blast in London. Lena recently shared a picture of her that was clicked by Nimisha on social media.
