Actor and producer Nazriya Nazim is set to make her Tollywood debut with Nani’s upcoming untitled film.
Directed by Vivek Athreya, the film is said to be a musical rom-com. The title reveal for the new project is on November 21.
Nazriya, taking to Instagram with a Diwali wish for her fans, shared, “Next. So this one will be my first Telugu film guys. Super excited for this one. With this amazing team.”
The production house tweeted, “This Diwali, we have a new addition to our Telugu film family, let’s welcome Nazriya Fahadh! The ladi has been lit for the #CurtainRaiser and its going to blast on 21 November 2020. Circle this date and tune in!.”
Nazriya, who has done 13 films in Malayalam, and five in Tamil, debuted in Mollywood with the Mammootty starrer Palunku. She began her career as an anchor on a Malayalam television channel before pursuing her career as an actor.
Nazriya, who has starred in Malayalam films such as Neram, Ohm Shanthi Oshana, Bangalore Days and Trance, is married to actor Fahadh Faasil. Nazriya, who took a four-year break after her marriage, made a comeback with Anjali Menon’s movie Koode in 2018. She made her debut as a producer for Fahadh's Varathan under the banner Nazriya Nazim Production. The film was co-produced by Amal Neerad.
