Mollywood actor Fahadh Faasil falls from top of building; injures nose

Fahadh Faasil took a fall yesterday. The actor sustained injuries after falling from the top of a building during the shoot of Sajimon Prabhakaran’s survival thriller, Malayankunj. Fahadh who was admitted to a private hospital is said to have injured his nose during the fall.

Penned and shot by Mahesh Narayanan, the shoot for Malayankunj, which has completed its first schedule, has been suspended for the moment. Fazil and Fahadh-Nazriya’s home banner Fahadh Faasil and Friends are jointly producing the film.

Meanwhile, the release date of the multi-faceted actor’s Malik has been confirmed. The makers announced on social media that the film would have a worldwide release on May 13, 2021. The film was a topic of discussion ever since it went on floors in the 2019. However, the post-production was halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic, pushing the release date further.

The actor, who is known for his intense roles in various critically acclaimed films like Trance and Kumblangi Nights, launched the first look poster of his upcoming Malayalam film Wolf on Sunday. Directed by Shaji Azees, who has made films like Shakespeare MA Malayalam and Oridathoru Postman, actors Samyuktha Menon, Arjun Ashokan, Shine Tom Chacko and Jaffar Idukki have been featured in the first look poster of Wolf. The film being produced by Santhosh Damodharan under the banner of Damodar Cinema, is expected to be a thriller drama.
