Megastar Rajinikanth leaves hospital; doctors advice complete bed rest for next one week

Megastar Rajinikanth has been discharged from Apollo hospital in Hyderabad after his blood pressure was stabilized on Sunday. The actor was admitted to the hospital on Friday after his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations.

"Rajninikanth's blood pressure has been stabilized and he is feeling much better. He will discharge today considering he is feeling well," the hospital said in a bulletin. The doctors have advised the actor complete bed rest for the next one week and have asked the actor to refrain from doing any kind of strenous activity. Coincidentally, next week, the actor is supposed to be making announcements regarding his political party.

On Saturday, the hospital said the actor is progressing well and his blood pressure is on the higher side despite being under better control than when he was admitted on Friday.

On Friday, the megastar was admitted at Apollo hospital in Hyderabad after his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations. Though he did not have any symptoms of Covid-19, further evaluation was needed. On Tuesday, the rumours of Rajinikanth testing Covid positive spread, but the superstar clarified that it wasn’t the case. The actor was shooting for Director Siva’s next venture Annatthe in Hyderabad when a couple of the staff tested Covid positive. While the superstar had tested negative, he isolated himself and was under constant monitoring.
