Actor John Abraham is known for performing high octane action sequences. John, who started shoot for his upcoming action flick, Attack, a few weeks ago has been sharing glimpses from the sets on his Instagram handle, much to the delight of his fans. However, John’s action sequence seemed to go awry yesterday.
The actor who began his career as a model, shared a picture on social media in which a stuntman breaks a tube light on him from behind. Later, in a video, a team member is seen wiping blood from John’s neck on set.
"How it started... how it's going. Love this...all part of the fun! #Attack #ActionAddict (sic)," wrote John on social media.
Soon after he shared the post several celebrities and fans started dropping in comments on the same. Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, who is also known for pulling off daring stunts in his movies, called him an 'action man' with a lit emoji. One of John’s fans wrote, “Eagerly waiting for new storyline,” while another one wrote, “I love you john sir.”
Earlier, John, who has starred in movies such as Dhoom, Race 2 and Batla House had given a sneak peek of a bike stunt in Attack. He shared the video in which he was seen wearing an all-black ensemble for the stunt. In the clip, he zoomed fast on a bike while the camera crew filmed him. "Stunting #action #bikes #attack," he captioned the video. However, soon after the video popped up on the Internet, the actor was heavily trolled for not wearing a helmet. "No safety," wrote a user, while another posted: "@thejohnabraham please wear a helmet." "Helmet?," questioned a user, while another suggested: "U should wear hemet. (Sic)"
Attack, written and directed by debutant Lakshya Raj Anand, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh. John once again plays a saviour of the nation in the film. It is a fictional story inspired by true events and set against the backdrop of a hostage crisis situation. John's upcoming films include Pathan, Ek Villain Returns, Mumbai Saga, and Satyameva Jayate 2.
