Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito has been dethroned as the most watched video on YouTube. The title has been claimed by Baby Shark Dance, a sing-along video posted on South Korea company Pingfong's YouTube channel. Although Pingfong posts children’s sing-along regularly, none has gone as viral as Baby Shark.

The two minute video featuring animated baby sharks and children singing ‘Baby Shark dooo doo doo doo doo’ has clocked over 7 billion views on the popular video sharing platform.

A remix of an American campfire song, Baby Shark Dance was posted on YouTube in June 2016. The annoyingly catchy song inspired the hashtag #BabySharkChallenge. Celebrities Josh Groban and Cardi B joined the fun by taking on the challenge.

Pinkfong recently posted an updated video about hand washing to help kids remember to wash their hands to help fight off the coronavirus pandemic. The updated lyrics include “Wash your hands/doo doo doo doo doo/Wash your hands” and “Grab some soap/doo doo doo doo doo/Grab some soap.”

The animated video also depicts a live person washing their hands to demonstrate the proper way to wash to children
