25 years of 'DDLJ': SRK and Kajol changed their names on Twitter
The Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Diwale Dulhani Le Jayange completed 25 years recently. The film, directed by Aditya Chopra, also starred Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher and Farida Jalal among others.
On the occasion of DDLJ’s 25th anniversary, SRK and Kajol updated the names of their Twitter handles to their characters in the film. They also changed their display pictures across their social media platforms. While SRK changed his name to Raj Malhotra, Kajol updated hers to Simran.
King Khan took a walk down memory lane as he posted a beautiful video celebrating the 25 years of DDLJ. Along with the video, SRK wrote “25 years!!! Filled with gratitude towards you for loving Raj & Simran, with all your heart. This always feels special. #DDLJ25”
Kajol also penned a sweet note to her fans on Twitter. She wrote, “Raj & Simran! 2 people, 1 film, 25 years and the love doesn’t stop coming in! I am truly grateful to all the people who made it what it is today… a phenomenon and a part of their own history. The fans! Big shoutout to all of you #25years of DDLJ
