In connection with his 2016 complaint, Mumbai Police's Crime Branch has summoned actor Hrithik Roshan to record his statement. In 2016, the actor had filed a complaint alleging that someone was impersonating him and was emailing actor Kangana Ranaut from a fake email id created in his name.
According to reports, the actor was asked to visit the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) at the commissioner's office today. Reportedly, the actor's lawyer had approached the Mumbai Police commissioner about the case and following which, the case was transferred to the Crime Branch's CIU.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Kangana Ranaut once again addressed Hrithik Roshan as her 'silly ex.' Kangana had earlier claimed that she had dated Hrithik in the past.
In an earlier interview, Kangana, without taking his name, had called Hrithik Roshan as her 'silly ex'. Following the incident, the actor said that he would rather have an affair with a 'pope' than Kangana. This revelation irked Kangana who later shared the details of her affair and also shared email chats with him.
On this background, Hrithik filed a complaint stating that an impersonator had been talking to her. Also, the actor had demanded a public apology from her for calling him 'silly ex.' However, she refused. The case is still being investigated.
