A man supposedly killed his wife over a personal dispute in Bihar. He later killed himself by jumping off the balcony of his apartment. Atul Lal (50), a station master at Patna Junction got into an argument with his wife Tulika Kumari (45) on Monday morning. In a fit of anger, Atul supposedly killed his wife by slashing her throat with a sharp object and then later committed suicide. According to reports Tulika had tested Covid positive a few days ago. Both the bodies have been sent for post mortem.

Meanwhile, a man in Agra had to carry his father’s body on top of his car’s roof as he failed to find an ambulance. He performed the last rites upon reaching the crematorium. Agra has been struggling with the rapid rise in Covid 19 cases. The city has been reporting over 600 cases daily and in the last nine days, 35 people have died due to Covid 19, say sources. As there is a drastic shortage of ambulances, people have to wait for nearly six hours to carry bodies of Covid 19 victims to the crematorium. While private hospitals in Agra are not admitting patients, nearby districts, Mainpuri, Firozabad and Mathura are sending critical patients to the city.
