Prabhas’ much awaited film Salaar will hit theatres on April 14, 2022. Both Prabhas and the film’s director Prashanth Neel took to their social media pages and shared a poster announcing the release date of the film. In the poster, the actor, dressed in a black T-Shirt and black jeans is seen giving a deadly look wearing. Prabhas captioned the poster stating, "Delighted to share the release date of #SALAAR. 14th April 2022 see you in cinemas! #Salaar14Apr22 @prashanthneel @shrutzhaasan @vkiragandur @hombalefilms @ravibasrur @bhuvanphotography @shivakumarart."

Salaar, an action saga produced by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur, with Prabhas playing the titular character, the film stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Kannada, the film will also release in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
The first schedule of shooting for the film was wrapped up a few days ago. A team of people working on Salaar met with a road accident near Godavarikhani last month. The team was on their way to their hotel after finishing the shoot for the day when their van collided with a truck. Those who suffered injuries were treated at a close by hospital.
Prabhas was last seen in the 2019 action-thriller Saaho. His next film, Radhe Shyam will hit theatres on July 30. The actor will also be seen alongside Deepika Padukone in Nag Ashwin’s next. Shruti was recently seen in the Telugu film Krack along with Ravi Teja, and in xLife, a short film directed by Nag Ashwin.
