Today, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches the ‘world’s largest’ vaccination drive, nearly 3 crore people including health workers and frontline workers will be vaccinated in the first phase.

The PM addressed 3,006 vaccination centers across the country via online. In each centre, 100 people will get the first dose of the vaccine. During the launch, he urged people to ‘not make the mistake of ignoring the second vaccine dose.’

In India, two vaccines - Covishield and Covaxin - have been approved for distribution.

Meanwhile, Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja confirmed that the State is all set for the Covid-19 vaccination drive and all facilities have been arranged in the block, district, and state levels.
