Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot tested Covid positive on Thursday. He said in a Tweet that he is taking appropriate medical advice from doctors and he asked people who might have come in contact with him to get tested for COVID-19.
Several Congress leaders took to Twitter to wish speedy recovery to Mr Pilot. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said: "Wish you a speedy recovery Sachin Pilot. May you get well soon."
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi also wrote on Twitter, "My best wishes for the speedy recovery of Sachin Pilot from Covid-19."
Govind Singh Dotasra, who replaced Sachin Pilot as chief of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) earlier in the year, wrote on Twitter, "Wish you a Speedy Recovery Pilot Ji. Get Well Soon."
Meanwhile, Rajasthan reported 2,176 new COVID-19 cases, 13 deaths, and 1,804 recoveries/discharges yesterday.
According to official data, 219,327 people are so far affected in Rajasthan by Covid-19 and 199,943 out of the 219,327 have recovered.
