A post shared on Twitter by a user identified as Doctor Sohail has gone viral on social media.

With over three lakh Covid-19 cases each day and a death toll that has already crossed the two lakh mark, as the health crisis rises at a rapid pace, medical infrastructure in the country is almost on the brink of collapse. As a result, health workers are battling the crisis daily and doing their best to protect citizens during this vulnerable time.

In the post, Doctor Sohail has shared two pictures of himself. While in the first, he is seen donning a PPE kit, he is seen totally drenched in sweat in the second. "Proud to serve the nation," the doctor captioned his post as he shared the two photographs. In the next tweet, he added, "On behalf of all the doctors and health workers, I would like to say that we are working very hard to stay away from our family, sometimes just one step from the positive patient, and sometimes from the seriously ill elderly. Are an inch away. I request everyone to please go for vaccinations. This is the only solution! Be safe.”

According to reports, Doctor Sohail Makwana is serving a hospital in Gujarat.
