According to reports, CPM Acting State Secretary A Vijayaraghavan lashed out at the NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair for his statements on the Kerala Assembly election day. He said that the community outfits should function within their limits and when they step out of their boundaries, problems arise.
He further added that the community will rectify their mistakes by the leadership during the Kerala Assembly polls. Reportedly, he made these statements in the article written in the party's mouthpiece.
Vijayaraghavan said Sukumaran's stance was anti-LDF and they are sure that the community that he represents will not support the same stance. The LDF had already explained this, he said.
He even claimed that the UDF and BJP even tried to encash religious faith in the just concluded Kerala Assembly polls. He stressed, "Organisations like NSS are least concerned about how communal polarisation and economic reforms can affect these communities." He even highlighted that leaders like Sukumaran Nair should realise that the extreme Hinduist vision of RSS will be against the economic reforms proposed by RSS, which is against the interests of common people of the community outfit.
The CPM leader even stated that the party has never taken any stance against the community outfits and fighting against them is not CPM's ideology.
