According to reports, posters urging people not to vote for BJP are seen in the name of Sabarimala Karma Samithi in Tripunithura, Ernakulam. The posters saying 'don't let Left win by voting for BJP' appeared in various parts of Tripunithura from last night.

These posters claiming to belong to Sabarimala Karma Samithi were seen fixed even along with BJP's Tripunithura candidate Dr KS Radhakrishnan's election posters. However, the leaders of Sabarimala Karma Samithi claim that they have not released any such posters. The BJP even alleges that this is UDF's plot to amass votes.

It is alleged that the UDF was trying to gather more BJP votes in Tripunithura where there is a tight battle between K Babu and M Swaraj. Also, BJP candidate Dr KS Radhakrishnan has lodged a complaint with the police on this matter.

Meanwhile, in another incident, 'eggs and lemon' were found in the backyard of UDF candidate Ullas Kovur at Kunnathoor constituency in Kollam. The eggs and lemon were reportedly found placed on a banana leaf beside the well in Ullas' residence. However, UDF activists allege that this is a part of the 'Kudoothram' (black magic) move aiming to defeat Ullas.

While reacting to the incident, Ullas said that someone might have done it as a part of a joke. He said that he does not think that his political opponents would resort to some form of black magic to win the Kerala Assembly elections.
