When hours are just left for Kerala Assembly polls, UDF's Nemom candidate K Muraleedharan alleges 'Marxist-BJP' collusion in the constituency. Muraleedharan even claimed that LDF's Nemom candidate Shivankutty was unaware of this 'Ma-B' connection.

While interacting with a media organization, he alleged that a similar agreement is there in Thiruvananthapuram central, where CPM will support BJP, while CPM will get BJP's support in Vattiyoorkavu and Kazhakoottam. He said that the Congress workers from booth level are united and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's praise was a great inspiration.

Muraleedharan even said that CPM has degraded to such a level where they started to use 'caste' to gather votes in the Nemom constituency. He even claimed that CPM is trying to create confusion among the minorities by saying that he will not get the votes of the Hindu community and that if he loses the votes of the Muslim community then BJP's Kummanam Rajasekharan will win. He even added that UDF would overcome all these and get the votes of both the minority and the majority.

He said that UDF sees both CPM and BJP alike. Muraleedharan said, "We are competing for the first place and there will be no influx of people from the UDF." He even added that he could not say whether there was an influx of people into the UDF.
