On Monday, Health Minister KK. Shailaja said through a press statement that the state has reported 3,593 Covid-19 cases. Out of the 3,593 new coronavirus cases, 3,070 people have contracted the virus, 61 cases are from outside state and the remaining 409 cases are unknown
In the past 24 hours, the state has tested 32,489 samples. On Monday, 5,983 recoveries were also reported in Kerala. NIV Alappuzha confirmed 22 deaths due to Covid-19. The state’s Covid death toll has now touched 1,714. Currently, the state has 79,410 active cases.
In Kerala, 4,08,460 have recovered so far. Around 3,16,096 people are under observation and the state’s test positivity rate is at 11.06.
