With a sudden drop in the number of cases, Kerala records 5,537 active Covid cases today compared to yesterday’s 7,007. Today also marks a drop in the Test Positivity Rate with 9.68% while the state has tested 57,702 samples in the last 24 hours. Thrissur takes the top spot with 727 cases, followed by Kozhikode (696) and Malappuram (617), while everyone else stays below the 600 mark.
The total active cases stand at 77,813 with the state recording 6,119 recoveries. Meanwhile, after marking 25 deaths, the state now has a total death tally of 1,796.
