After all the twists and turns, Kerala Minister KT Jaleel resigns. He made the announcement through Facebook post.

Through the Facebook post, he said, "Those who are eagerly waiting for my blood can be comfort for a while now. I am happy to inform that I have handed over my resignantion letter to the Chief Minister."

He even added, "Some of the esteemed Lokayukta found that the one-year deputation proceedings were the only clue in the 'Hall of Zakarat' (just before his death) to those who went in search of a scapegoat to cover up the frustration caused by the failure of the league, the Congress and the media syndicate."
In the post, he said that he had done nothing wrong. He even said that the media was constantly targeting him for the past two years.

The resignation comes immediately after the Lokayukta verdict, which states that the minister was guilty of nepotism. After arriving at the AKG center, he resigned. According to reports, his resignation is based on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's suggestion.
