Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be arriving in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday to begin her campaign for United Democratic Front (UDF) ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections. Her brother and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi had been here for the campaigning and created momentum for the alliance.
On March 30, Priyanka Gandhi will travel from Thiruvananthapuram to Alappuzha and is likely to campaign for Congress candidate Aritha Babu in Kayamkulam. Priyanka will attend corner meetings at Kollam, Eravipuram, Chathanoor and Kundara. At noon, she will head to Kottarakkara, where she will attend corner meetings and campaign for UDF candidates at Kottarakkara, Pathanapuram, Punalur, and Chadayamangalam.
After the events at Kottarakkara, Priyanka will head towards Thiruvananthapuram, where she will actively participate in events at Venjaramoodu, Varkala, Attingal, Vamanapuram, and Nedumangad. Priyanka will campaign for candidates in Aruvikkara, Kattakada and Parassala. She will hold a corner meeting at Kattakada. Towards the evening, the senior Congress leader will later head to Poojappura and campaign for Muraleedharan in Nemom and VS Sivakumar in Thiruvananthapuram Central at Karamana, Killipalem and Poonthura. After the events, Priyanka will attend a reception at Valiyathura and address a rally between 6.30 and 7 pm.
She will head to Cochin from Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday morning. Between 10:30 and 11 am, the senior Congress leader will hold corner meetings at Chalakudy and Kodungalloor in Thrissur. Priyanka will attend an event in Irinjalakuda around noon, after which she will head to Kaipamangalam and Thriprayar by road.
Priyanka will also be active in Chavakkad, Guruvayur and Manalur. To wrap up her two-day trip, the senior Congress leader will attend a public meeting at Thekkinkadu Maidan in Thrissur between 5.50 and 6.15 pm. Following the public event, Priyanka will take a flight back to New Delhi from Cochin.
