Job Fraud: Saritha S Nair's alleged audio clip turns up heat on Pinarayi government

Arun, the victim of a job scam in Neyyattinkara, said that Saritha and her gang had swindled him of Rs 16 lakh by guaranteeing appointment in the name of ministers

As Assembly elections are around the corner, the Kerala government is in a dock over the emerging job scam. According to reports, in a recently unearthed audio clip, solar scam accused Saritha S Nair is heard telling job seekers about government job possibilities with the support of politicians. Arun, who hails from Neyyattinkara, the victim of the job scam, said that Saritha S Nair guaranteed appointment in the name of ministers.

He said that Saritha had told him that CPM had allowed her to take commission over illegal appointments and it was an offer to stand with the solar case. The complainant has revealed the ways in which Saritha had swindled money by promising backdoor appointments in KTDC and Bevco. Saritha, who introduced herself as a secretariat employee, called him 317 times. She even convinced him by reciting the ministers' programme schedule, claims Arun.

In the audio, a woman is heard claiming that she had already placed four people in the Aarogya Kerala Mission. She further adds that those who obtain these jobs are supposed to remain loyal to the party.

The audio clip was recorded by Arun, the complainant who had filed a case alleging that Saritha and two others had cheated him by offering jobs in the Bevco and Kerala Tourism Development Corporation. He alleges that Saritha and her gang had swindled him of Rs 16 lakh.
