A gun and bullets were found at LuLu International Shopping Mall at Edappally Junction in Kochi on Saturday. According to a leading Malayalam media channel reports, a pistol and five bullets were found abandoned in a trolley at the mall.
The cleaning staff at LuLu Mall came across the gun and bullets while cleaning the trolley. One report said that the Kalamassery police has confirmed the incident and a probe is likely to happen. No other details have emerged so far.
Though Covid-19 cases have increased, Lulu Mall continues to be a frequented destination in Kochi. The mall is located in the centre of the city. During the weekend, many locals and tourists frequent the largest mall in Kochi. As Easter Sunday is tomorrow, many families are likely to frequent the mall for Easter shopping and last-minute purchases.
