Kerala Public Works Department (PWD) Minister G Sudhakaran has alleged a conspiracy to tarnish his political image and career after a former personal staff member’s wife filed a complaint against him. In her complaint, the woman said that Sudhakaran made insulting remarks against women and created communal tensions.

The PWD Minister claimed that a gang is behind the conspiracy to tarnish his political career. He alleged that members of other parties are involved. “My family and I are targeted despite our attempts to stay away from controversies. My wife was threatened, and they want to insult my political career,” Sudhakaran told reporters.

“My wife is a retired principal. She has a good pension. I have a salary of Rs 1.5 lakh. My son got a job without taking my name... Conspiracy against such a family. Until death, I will be a true communist,” he said. The PWD minister sympathised with the complainants and claimed that they were being used. “My wife and I never insulted anyone. The complainants are innocent,” he added.

Meanwhile, there were reports that the complainant had withdrawn her complaint against Sudhakaran. However, the woman has confirmed that she has not withdrawn her complaint against him. She told a leading Malayalam news channel that she will not withdraw her case under any circumstances.
