According to reports, a fully loaded LPG gas tanker lorry overturned at Chala in Kannur today. Reportedly, the gas is leaking from the tanker that met with the accident.
The place where the accident took place today is the same place where a tanker lorry met an accident in 2012. While crossing a curve on the road, the lorry heading from Manglore met with the accident after losing control. Reportedly, gas is leaking from three parts of the tanker lorry. Immediately after the incident, people managed to escape from the spot. The fire force and police is trying hard to control the situation. Traffic to the incident spot is currently diverted to avoid further mishaps.
