After days of interrogation, the Enforcement Directorate has played spoiled sport in M Sivasankar’s — former Principal Secretary to Kerala Chief Minister — bail application. The Directorate argued that giving bail to the accused could result in him in trying to influence the investigation. Moreover, the ED revealed that Swapna Suresh, the second accused, had revealed that Sivasankar was aware of the gold smuggling, as well as his team at the CM office.
