'Drishyam' style murder: Kerala man allegedly kills and buries brother in house

A man was allegedly killed and buried similar to the plot of Mohanlal's movie Drishyam. The man who went missing two years ago was reportedly murdered and buried in house. The deceased was identified as Shaji, a native of Bharathipuram.

During the investigation into the complaint that Shaji was missing, the police received information that Shaji was killed and buried. According to reports, a dispute over the name of Shaji's brother Sajin's wife led to the murder. Reportedly, Shaji's brother and mother were taken into police custody.

It is also alleged that Sajin beheaded Shaji and the body was buried in a pit near the well in the house. Reportedly, the police will be visiting the place where the body was buried and said that the information could be confirmed only after an inspection.

Reportedly, Shaji was accused in several theft cases and police were looking for him. However, the family said that he had moved to a new place. The police received information regarding the murder on Monday. Following this, Shaji's brother was questioned and he had given a statement that he had accidentally murdered Shaji.

The Pathanamthitta DySP received crucial information regarding the incident over Shaji's disappearance. On Monday, a drunk person reached the Pathanamthitta DySP office and revealed the information regarding the murder. At first, the police refused to take the statement. However, later police decided to investigate the matter. He is a relative of Shaji and claimed that he came to the police station as requested by Shaji in his dream.
