Boy loses forearm while making bomb in Kannur; 15-year-old stabbed to death during temple festival

In the mishap, a boy lost his forearm during a bomb explosion at Kadirur in Kannur. The victim is identified as Nijesh alias Maarimuthu. The unfortunate incident took place at Fourth Mile in Kadirur at Kannur.

Nijesh's arm was severed in the incident that happened at 10:30 pm. The incident took place during the making of the country bomb.

According to reports, one more person has been injured during the incident. Immediately after the incident, Nijesh was rushed to the Thalassery Co-operative hospital, but due to the severe injuries, he was later taken to the Mangalore hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Wednesday night during a verbal clash during a temple festival in Alappuzha. The deceased was identified as Abhimanyu, a native of Padayanivettom.

According to reports, a four-member gang stabbed Abhimanyu during trouble that happened when the Padayanivettom temple festival was progressing. Two other persons too got injured during the incident and are under treatment. At around 10 pm on Wednesday, the incident took place.

It is reportedly said that the incident that resulted in the death of Abhimanyu was the continuation of an early spat that happened a few days back at a temple festival. On the other hand, the CPM has alleged the involvement of RSS in the incident.
