According to reports, two children were injured in a bomb explosion in Kannur. The bomb was found covered inside an empty ice-cream box.
Reportedly, the injured children are five and 1.5 years old. The children were playing with the ice cream box when the incident took place.
The boy who was badly injured in the accident was shifted to Pariyaram Medical College. The police have started to look into the case and reportedly informed that the bomb was placed inside the ice cream box.
The sad incident took place at Padikachale near Irutti in Kannur. The place was infamous for election-related skirmishes and it is suspected that it might be some political party workers who have placed the bomb.
