Nemom in Thiruvananthapuram, the sitting seat of the BJP has been witnessing Kummanam Rajasekharan’s advancement. In Thrissur, it would seem that actor and NDA candidate Suresh Gopi will emerge triumphant once the results are out. The actor-politician has overtaken UDF’s Padmaja Venugopal, who was leading in the first stage. NDA candidate for Palakkad, Metro Man E Sreedharan, is currently leading in his constituency.

Meanwhile BJP state president, K Surendran is faring poorly in his constituencies – Konni and Manjeshwaram, seats in which the BJP had high hopes. While sitting MLA, CPM’s Janeesh Kumar is leading in Konni, PMK Ashraf of the Muslim League is leading in Manjeshwaram, which is one of the A-plus constituencies of the BJP.
