Andhra cops nab thief who robbed Bhima Jewellery owner's house in Kerala; Bhima's new ad goes viral

The Andhra Pradesh police have identified and arrested the thief who robbed the house of B Govindan, the proprietor of Bhima Jewellery. The accused is Irfan, popularly known as Robin Hood in Bihar. He was identified based on the CCTV visuals released by the Kerala Police. The CCTV visuals show that the robbery was committed by a man with a tattoo on his right shoulder. Irfan is an accused in several theft cases in Andhra Pradesh.

The theft took place on Vishu (April 14) at Govindan’s residence in Kowdiar, Thiruvanthapuram. Police were puzzled at the burglary as there was no sign of forced entry into house. The Police suspect that Irfan must have jumped from the neighbouring house and entered through the back door. Irfan fled with jewellery worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 60,000 cash.

Meanwhile, the recent advertisement released by Bhima Jewellery has gone viral. The ad which features transperson and activist Meera Singhania’s journey from childhood to marriage and her family’s unconditional support has reached 6.5 million views. Titled 'Pure As Love', the ad has been greatly appreciated by viewers across social media.
