Kerala has recorded 6,028 cases today, from the 60,365 tests performed in the last 24 hours. With the Test Positivity Rate at 9.99%, the numbers seems to have picked up from the 5,722 positive cases in 67,017 tests from yesterday. The state has recorded 6,398 recoveries while adding 28 to the total death count, taking the tally to 1,997.
Malappuram tops the list among the states with a whopping 1,054 cases, while the second is Kozhikode at only 691. Apart from Thrissur at 653, everyone else has come under the 600-mark, with Idukki recording the lowest number of cases at 85. The active cases have come down to 67,831 and the state hopes to bring down the list.
