Unni Mukundan’s next goes on floors

Unni Mukundan turns producer (Unni Mukundan Films) with his upcoming acting venture, Meppadiyan. The film, which kickstarted the production on Vijayadashami, is directed and scripted by Vishnu Mohan. The film, touted to be a family entertainer, chronicles the life of a garage owner named Jayakrishnan, played by Unni. The shoot of Meppadiyan is planned in 48 locations across Erattupetta and Pala. The film has a host of noted actors including Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese and Anju Kurian.

While composer Rahul Subramanian will handle the music of the movie, Shameer Muhammed is the film's editor and Neil D’Cunha, the film's cinematographer. The makers are said to be aiming for a theatre release.
